zoetrope animation

Purpose- The purpose of this was to make one of the first stop motion animations as it has a spinning wheel that spins fast and then has slits in it to give off the effect of the animation is moving.
Resources- with this they need a zoetrope and then some paper that fits in to the zoetrope then they can draw there animation and then spin it to see what it looks like.
Strengths- The strengths of this is that is is a fast way to make a stop motion animation that works well.
Weaknesses- The weakness of this is it is old technology and can only last a few seconds as it spins round fast
